Prof. Dr. Vladimir Jakovsky born in 1945 in the village. Banište, Debarsko. He completed his primary school in the birthplace of Debar, and the Secondary School of Mechanics in Skopje, 1964.
He graduated with a degree in the Lviv Polytechnic Institute, Lviv, Ukraine, where he studied in the period 1964-1969.
In 1969, he was employed at the Faculty of Technology and Metallurgy in Skopje as an expert associate.
In 1970, Vladimir Jakovski's scientific career began, and in 1974 he received his Ph.D. on the subject "Electromagnetic motor operating in parametric resonance mode".
In 1975 he was elected as an assistant at the Faculty of Technology and Metallurgy, and in 1977 he was an assistant professor at the same faculty.
In 1982 he was elected associate professor, and in 1987 as a full professor at the Faculty of Technology and Metallurgy in Skopje. As a university professor, he is dedicated to teaching, scientific and innovative activity until 2011.
Since 2011, he has been completely dedicated to the innovation activity, and at the same time he is also a member of the Executive Board of the Union of Inventors and authors of technical improvements of Macedonia (SPATUM).
• He is the author of 63 patented inventions and published the first patented inventions in 1972 (at age 27).
• He wrote and published 5 books (textbooks and scripts).
• He is the author of more than 100 articles and abstracts of scientific congresses and symposia in the country and abroad.
• Designer is on several machines and devices, which are applied in factories in the Republic of Macedonia. Macedonia.
